From Scrap metal to Metal Art Sculptures

Many of you probably do not know who Tom Samui is. For 10 years now the Swiss artist and his team of about a dozen has been busy turning junk metal mostly from throwaway vehicles into pure art. They are highly polished and undergo a treatment that salvage them from rust. Almost every part is used. His work is breathtaking nonetheless as you can see:

This metal fairy (elf) will sit elegantly in a garden, don’t you agree? The level of craftsmanship and detail is really amazing. Production time of such pieces is 2-3 months and we can see why. Simply amazing!

The only thing this dragon can do now is spit fire! The amount of work on this thing must be phenomenal.

By far my favorite. Look how majestic this deer looks…

Look at the size of this metal T-Rex. That’s an actual 8 meter long dinosaur! (notice the giant behind) According to the artist’s friend, the pieces can be broken down into smaller parts for easy transportation.
